King County Juvenile Court
Court spotlight on King County Juvenile Court where most records are not only able to be vacated, the adult remedy where they take care of the conviction, but the entire file is eligible to be sealed as well. This applies to most cases in King County Juvenile Court as long as you have had a period of time without trouble and are not subject to sex-offender registration.
Technically the rule does say restitution needs to be paid, however King County is much for flexible with that than other counties and will often agree to seal it anyways, although the restitution does remain outstanding and as part of your credit history and such but it’s not necessarily a barrier to getting it sealed in King County the way it is in other courts. So, if you are interested in that process and want to get the ball rolling, give my office a call.
